Soy Product

Soy is just like other grains, it has been used for many culinary. One of the main benefits for cooking with soy is that you are not only getting a good source of protein but also fiber. Soy can be transformed from dessert, appetizers to main dish, but one of the most major and common is tofu.

Tofu, also known as soybean curd, is a soft, cheese-like food made by curdling fresh hot soymilk with a coagulant. Traditionally, the curdling agent used to make tofu is nigari, a compound found in natural ocean water, or calcium sulfate, a natural occurring mineral. Curds can also be produced by acidic foods such as lemon juice or vinegar and then it is generally pressed into a solid block.
